Grace
Our giving, like our prayer life, our study and training in
the Word, and our worship, is an evidence of our
spirituality and our growth in the grace of God. It is an
important part, a vital part in fact, of our priesthood
before God. The giving of our Christian lives should be
done, and always be done, only in grace.

Giving
is an act of worship, a remembrance of the sacrifice of
Christ.
·
Giving
is an attitude of grace: an inner joy and inner peace,
rather than a particular amount.
·
In
order to meet the definition of ‘grace,’ giving must
originate in freedom.
·
Giving
is a privilege of grace.
·
Giving
begins in the soul, the soul saturated with grace.
·
There
are two motivating factors behind grace giving: absolute
Truth and unlimited love.
·
Our
giving depends on our appreciation of grace and our
acceptance of reality.
·
Money
given in the Cause of Christ must be administered
responsibly.
·
The
influence and interaction of the Spirit of God is
required for giving with proper motivation.
·
Giving
done in grace is divine good.
·
God
provides everything for giving in grace— both the
attitude and the means.
·
God has
not promised us material blessings or phenomenal wealth

Community

freely give,” Matthew 10:8e {NIV}.
This six-word summary of grace
explains the financial policy of Heart’s Journey Ministries
online outreach. Anything and everything available on this site
is offered to you free of charge. The option is open to any and
all who desire to give in support of Heart’s Journey, but no
prices, charges, or download fees are attached to any of our
teachings, essays, or MP3s. Like the Arms of Grace, they are
wide open to all.
All we ask is that proper
credit be given for authorship on written materials, and that
our address and website be included if any materials— written or
recorded— are distributed. We want all those who may benefit
from our ministry to be able to contact us if they desire to go
deeper in their Journey with God.
